POPCAKE^TMMachine

The POPCAKE^TM machine is the world's first fully- automatic counter-top pancake making machine. This patented machine cooks fresh, piping-hot pancakes that are 97% fat free at the single press of a button.
The machine uses single phase standard power supply. Weighing less than 25 kilograms (55 lbs) and standing less than 40cm (16 inches) tall, this compact unit occupies little space within the commercial kitchen.
The machine can also be easily converted to a front-of-house / buffet counter version with the addition of the optional keypad cover plate.

The machine is operated by robust yet simple software allowing the end-user to adjust pancake size; pancake colour and pancake stack quantity. Standard settings for large (15cm - 6" pancakes), medium (10cm - 4" pancakes) and mini's (2.5cm - 1" blini-style pancakes) come pre-programmed in the machine. A full-suite of operating diagnostics is also accessible through the software which makes problem-solving and preventative maintenance an easy process.

The machine uses two proprietary Teflon^® coated cooking belts specifically designed and manufactured for the POPCAKE^TM machine, which enables fresh pancakes to be cooked without the use of fats or oils. Each belt set operates the machine for 1,400 pancakes, after which time the end-user replaces the belts to ensure the ongoing quality and taste consistency of the POPCAKE^TM pancakes. The cooking belt replacement process is simple, quick and easily done by the end-user.

POPCAKE^TM Mix

The original POPCAKE^TM mix is made from non-genetically modified natural ingredients, blended to the POPCAKE^TM proprietary recipe and packaged locally by our partner foodservice companies worldwide. The varieties of POPCAKE^TM mix have been carefully developed to suit the taste preferences of consumers in many regions of the world. Sweet varieties are most popular for desert and takeaway snack servings while savoury varieties provide healthy alternatives for more substantial meals throughout the day.

The Original POPCAKE^TM mix comes in specially designed, double-lined HACCP approved bags and HACCP approved nozzle and cap system. This ensures that the dry-mix powder and post-mix batter always remains sealed, fresh and ready for use.

A standard 780 gram bag can make 20+ large, 30+ medium and 200+ mini pancakes.

Ongoing development continues to create many new products to complement our POPCAKE^TM sweet and savoury mixes. This will include new varieties like chocolate and strawberry flavoured mixes as well as flavoured savoury varieties like basil and oregano infused mixes. All POPCAKE^TM mix products are produced in FDA approved facilities to the highest standard of quality. Additional products continue to be developed to meet the market demands such as gluten-free varieties and products to meet Halal and Kosher standards and requirements.
